Hi, I’m NJ. I’m an experienced publishing professional and I love what I do.
I love creating order from chaos. I thrive on tasks that require close attention to detail. If there’s a fiddly technical element as well? I’m in professional heaven. Every job is a pleasure—this really is my happy place. I’m genuinely excited to work with you and show you what I can do.
With ten years’ in-house experience, including six in editorial roles, I know my stuff when it comes to publishing. But I’ve also spent six years delivering sparkling training and sensitive consultancy in equality, diversity, and inclusion. Whatever you’re writing, I can help you ensure that it reflects your values and conveys the right message.
I live in Kidlington, Oxfordshire with two snakes, one cat, and one partner. When I’m not editing up a storm, I’m a magic-free tarot reader and I volunteer with the Cherwell Collective. I have a BA in Philosophy & Theology from the University of Oxford, and a Prosci Change Management Practitioner certificate. I love story podcasts, science-fiction novels, vegan cooking, and building miniature houses. I use they/them pronouns.
